The HubTickets astronaut floating in an open sky with tickets and passes drifting up around him.
Our story

Fiercely independent, and finally fair.

We came to ticketing from the outside, through years of marketing, data and technology work with venues. What we found there is why HubTickets exists.

We’ve spent our careers where systems meet customers.

Between us, that’s more than 40 years across telecommunications, marketing and technology: leading marketing for a national telco brand, founding and scaling a national telco business to 450,000 customers, and rebuilding the membership and digital pass systems of a major Queensland racing club.

HubTickets also grew out of our work at Co.gency, one of Australia’s leading independent full-service agencies and a three-time HubSpot Impact Award winner, where we’ve spent years inside venues’ marketing, data and CRM, experiencing the problems first hand.

What we found

Ticketing was always the weak link.

The heart of an operator’s business, and the hardest system to connect.

Some platforms did certain things well. None did everything our clients needed.

HubTickets was our answer.

Promises don’t open gates.

Ask operators about their ticketing roadmap and you’ll hear the same story: features promised by a sales team that never arrive. We’ve spoken with operators still waiting on requests they were promised more than five years ago. There are two reasons for this:

Mismatched blocks stacked and patched together.

Technical

Legacy built on legacy. Each change has to be threaded through everything that came before it, so the simple requests are the ones that take years.

A heavy padlock closed over a ticket.

Commercial

When the model depends on keeping an operator in place, letting them move freely is the one thing it cannot afford to build.

So we built it differently.

We start by understanding the industry and the problem deeply, then build what actually fixes it.

A phone holding a pass.

Better for guests

A booking that feels like the venue’s own, and a ticket that keeps working long after the gate.

A tablet showing the day’s numbers.

Better for operators

A system shaped around how you run, with your data and customers staying yours.

Two hands meeting over a ticket.

Fair for everyone

A model where we only do well when you do.

That’s what it means to

liberate the gate

Built at a real gate.

HubTickets was shaped on the ground at Aussie World, one of South East Queensland’s most iconic theme parks. We were at the gate on the busiest days, watching how a real park runs and building the platform around it. Those lessons still guide how we build today.

A ride running at Aussie World.
