Checkout and payments

A checkout that finishes on your site.

Payment is embedded in the shop, so there is no redirect for cards. The cart holds real stock, the total always matches, and the order page opens in the same spot.

A payment card and a phone leaning against a rounded checkout panel.

The problem

A checkout handed to another site is where orders are abandoned, totals stop matching and the customer loses the thread.

A redirect to pay
Totals that drift
No way back in

What we built

Payment embedded on your own domain, stock reserved while they decide, and one order page they can return to at any time.

Pay without leaving
Stock held, with a countdown
An order page that lasts

What is actually in it.

A cart that tells the truth

Stock is reserved the moment it goes in, with a countdown on it.

  • Reserved on add, so two people cannot take the last ticket
  • A live countdown, and expired holds go back on sale by themselves
  • Lines grouped by event and date, with quantity changes in place
  • Add another date buys several days in one order
  • The cart stays visible beside the payment form
  • A $0 order says Nothing to pay, not Pay $0.00

Pay without leaving

Payment is embedded in the shop, with no redirect for cards.

  • Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with Afterpay switched on per operator
  • Your own merchant account, or one we provide
  • Known buyers see a compact Paying as card, not a blank form
  • A retried payment resumes the same order, never a second one
  • The payment session expires with the hold, releasing the stock
  • Card readers at the box office run on the same payments

Clear totals, and an order that lasts

What the cart says is what the card is charged, to the cent.

  • Prices include GST, shown separately on the receipt and invoice
  • A booking fee on its own line, or built into the price
  • Promo codes by event, ticket type, product or category, with limits
  • An expired cart says so, rather than blaming the code
  • The order page opens on your site, with no redirect
  • Old email links keep working, even after you redesign your website
  • A shopping basket with an hourglass inside, the sand part way through.

    Held while they decide

Stock is reserved on add, with a countdown running.

  • A small shop front with a striped awning, a payment card and a phone on its counter.

    Pay where they are

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, embedded in the shop.

  • A level balance scale with a price tag on one pan and a coin on the other.

    The total always matches

What the cart says is what the card is charged.

  • A ticket with a percentage badge resting on its corner.

    One code, one saving

Promo codes recalculate as the cart changes.

  • An open envelope with a chain looping out of it to a small document.

Back to the order any time

Email links keep working, even after a site redesign.

  • A receipt curling at the bottom, with a tick badge at its top corner.

A receipt and a tax invoice

GST shown separately, with your legal name and ABN.

Checkout and payments questions

Which payment methods can we take?

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with Afterpay switched on per operator. Card readers at the box office run on the same payments.

Can we use our own merchant account?

Yes. You can run on your own merchant account, or on one we provide.

What stops two people buying the last ticket?

Stock is reserved the moment it goes in the cart, with a countdown. When a hold expires, the customer is told and the stock goes back on sale automatically.

Does the customer get redirected to pay?

No. Payment is embedded in the shop, and the order page opens in the same spot afterwards.

What happens to old ticket links when we redesign our website?

They keep working. Email links go to your page when it is live, otherwise a backup hub, otherwise a guaranteed hosted page.
